THIS AND THAT…

THIS AND THAT…

            It’s being floated as a possibility that the detainees at Guantanamo Bay prison may be sent to prisons in America.  Let’s look at this logically.   First, these prisoners, and that’s what they are, are among the worst of the worst.   Were they, somehow, to be released into whatever society would take them, it wouldn’t be too long before they would be either on the battlefield, or planning battles against our military and our allies.

Oh, speaking of that…do we really have any allies left?   I digress.  Second, once on sovereign American soil, even though they were in prisons, these die-hard terrorists would begin converting their fellow prisoners and, if you didn’t already know it, that’s where a lot of converts to Islam come from.   Third, and this is what scares the you-know-what out of me and lots of others…some do-gooder in the DOJ might figure out a way to hold a civil trial for these men and they might actually free some of them!  That is simply not acceptable and if we had a true leader in the Oval Office, the prisoners would have had trials long ago, most likely found guilty and executed…which would be my choice…but we don’t have a leader, we have another Muslim in the White House.

            Planned Parenthood…now there’s an interesting group.   The name actually is a misnomer in my book because they really don’t seem to care about parenthood at all.   What does interest them the most are abortions and selling body parts, or so it would seem.  Now, as for abortions, I don’t think I’ll ever have one, being of the wrong gender, so my voice on that should be mute.  Selling body parts…that’s a different story altogether and it begs the question of why they are using body parts from allegedly “living” babies, when it was just last year or so that stem cells from laboratories were being touted as being able to reproduce any body part?   It’s a mystery to this old fogey.

            Gay marriage.   What’s the big deal?   I’m a heterosexual but if I was a gay person would that really be anyone’s business but my own?   Does a gay couple getting married in Massachusetts, as an example, strike fear into the hearts of people in Colorado?   If Joe Blow wanted to marry his dog, or a tree, or his car…does it really affect the security of the nation?   I think not.   Where the line might be drawn would be if close family members married each other, because of the supposed(and I’m not sure about this) mental problems that might ensue.   Personally, I served with gay guys in the Navy, and they weren’t “flamers”…they went about doing their job the same as everyone else, and what they did ashore was their business.

            There’s a lot of chatter on the internet about a coming financial crisis…that the US dollar will be replaced on the world market as the “go-to” currency.   If that occurs, this current administration could be the cause of it through dumb negotiations with folks that used to be our friends, the decimation of our manufacturing industries, and the downright throat-cutting of our coal industries.   As the currency crisis grows nearer, the commercials on TV for gold and silver get more frequent.  Think about it, if the dollar is not going to be worth anything, or very little, doesn’t inflation follow right behind that?  Think of the Weimar Republic in Germany, where you brought a wheelbarrow full of money to buy a loaf of bread…or so I’m told.   Logically, at least to me, once inflation sets in, can anarchy be far behind?   I don’t think so.   My investments in precious metals would be in brass and lead.

            A few words now about Jade Helm…you remember that, don’t you?   It’s been called the largest military exercise inside the United States since World War 2.   We’re told that it’s purely symbolic, that the nation should be prepared.  Ok, we’re preparing, but for what?   The way Jade Helm is set up it seems as though they are preparing for urban warfare in this country.   A recent article that I saw said that elements of Jade Helm  Martial Law Forces Are Completely Occupying Every Corner of America, and there will be more to come on this as it becomes available.   How is it that Americans are more interested in the NFL draft, or the latest goings-on in Hollywood than they are in the security of the country?   Oh, wait…America has been lulled into this trance-like state by the administration telling everyone that we’re more loved, more secure, and more prosperous than before it came into power.  Folks, that’s hogwash, and you know it.

            Recently, Seattle, enacted a law that calls for a nickel’s tax on every round of ammunition sold.  This same law requires that a lost, strayed, or stolen gun must be reported within 24 hours.   So, looking at this logically, by putting more constraints on legal gun ownership they expect gun violence to diminish…is that right?   Anyone that thinks like this should take a look at Detroit, Chicago or our nation’s capital where gun laws are very strict, but the murder rate with firearms is higher than average.   An armed populace is less likely to be taken over by a dictator…remember that.

LET’S TALK ABOUT HEROES.

            Several of my heroes were presidents, a few were military people and a couple were politicians.   The common denominator was that they were all dyed-in-the-wool Americans.   Today, the United States is being led down the primrose path by a lawless administration, aided and abetted by a rubber-stamp Congress.  The American public, in general, and in a small majority, thinks that whatever this administration does, is alright with them.   They proved that when they elected and then re-elected a man they knew virtually nothing about…the man I call the Prince of Darkness. 

            What would some of my heroes have done, or said, if they were around today?

Teddy Roosevelt said this, “The first requisite of a good citizen in this republic of ours is that he shall be able and willing to pull his own weight.”   With the largest amount of people ever on some sort of government subsistence, that statement does not apply, but it should.   He also said, “The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.”   The way Lurch, aka Kerry, has gone about ceding little bits and big parts of our freedoms to Iran, the United Nations and ISIS should be a wakeup call…perhaps a call to arms for the American people, but it doesn’t appear that it is.

            Perhaps the greatest strategist to come out of World War 2 was George S. Patton, at least when it came to tank operations.   He took the measure of the German army and found them an equal…but the American troops were a bit more than equal.

He said, “Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All men are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood.”   Bowe Bergdahl was a coward, a deserter, a traitor, but the Muslim-in-chief welcomed his parents at the White House as if he were a conquering hero…which he certainly was not.   The Navy officer, Timothy White, who fired at the terrorist in Chattanooga is a hero, but he’s being charged with shooting a weapon on Federal property.   What sort of upside-down logic is that?  If you can offer resistance to the enemy you should.  Period.   Patton also said, “We herd sheep, we drive cattle, we lead people. Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way.”

            Andrew Jackson, hero and the seventh President of the United States had this to say, “I weep for the liberty of my country when I see at this early day of its successful experiment that corruption has been imputed to many members of the House of Representatives, and the rights of the people have been bartered for promises of office.”   Not much seems to have changed since “Stonewall” uttered those words.   As a matter of fact, it just appears to have gotten much worse.   Ambassadorships are bought by contributions to a political campaign as opposed to a person who might actually have contributed some knowledge and expertise to that post.   Politicians appear to have as their main interest their re-election rather than truly representing the people that put them in office.   Jackson also said, “The planter, the farmer, the mechanic, and the laborer... form the great body of the people of the United States, they are the bone and sinew of the country men who love liberty and desire nothing but equal rights and equal laws.”   Look around.   Are we still a nation of equal rights and laws?   We have a Supreme Court that is supposed to be impartial…but is it?   This is what Jackson said about that, “All the rights secured to the citizens under the Constitution are worth nothing, and a mere bubble, except guaranteed to them by an independent and virtuous Judiciary.”

            More recently in history, JFK said this, “Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future.”   Wake up America, we are being sliced and diced into neat little groupings that can be manipulated one against the other.   As concerns freedom he said this, “The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.”   If you have to think about that, you are not living in the present because surrender or submission is, in my opinion, a very real option if this administration has its way.   It’s a very simple question to ask yourself…if America does not lead the world, if America disappears, if America surrenders…what will the world be like?

            Finally, we must consider Islam truthfully.   Certainly to some their martyrs are heroes, but we in the Western world, we who treasure life more than death, think otherwise.   Everything I need to know about Islam I learned on September 11, 2001.

The Time Is Getting Short

            My friends, the time is getting short…for a lot of things.   There’s the time that the Muslim-in-chief has in office…the run-up to the next Presidential election and, I’m afraid, the time left for the United States to remain a free country.   Wow…what’s that you say?   Are you crazy, have you gone bonkers?  Where do you get these crazy ideas?

The answers to all of those, and more, is in the news.   No, not that pap the so-called mainstream media is feeding you…they’re so far behind the curve they’re still angry about Bush!   Wake up America…George W. Bush has been out of office going on 7 years and you’re still piling on him?   Oh sure, he made mistakes, but they were done partially on information that was wrong, partially on a matter of some sort of revenge, and even so, he didn’t overtly do things to ruin the country…but this guy is doing just that.

            Barack Hussein Obama…now there’s three names that just conjure up a picture of an all-American kid, don’t they?   If he was born in any part of the United States, he certainly hasn’t lived the American Experience.   I have called him the Prince of Darkness because very nearly everything that we ought to know about him has been sealed off, never to be seen, even with court orders.   If you were late a day bringing back a video, Blockbusters would be right there, on the phone, in your e-mail, or snail-mail…but they knew all about you.   Got a credit card?   My guess is that you gave them more information than Obama has given any journalist.   Got a driver’s license?   Again, the motor vehicle folks know more about you than the public does about him.

            What power he wields!   He makes law, by passing Congress…and they let him get away with it.   He interprets law, deciding which parts he will follow and which he won’t, and they let him get away with it.   He says the United States Constitution is too restrictive for him to do whatever he wants, and that is exactly why, and how, it was written the way it was…so that we wouldn’t wind up with another king.   The system of checks and balances was supposed to prevent a dictatorship from being formed…but Congress is cowed into submission and damn few people are speaking up about it.   Of what value is a Constitution if no one pays any attention to it?   The Bill Of Rights is equally meaningless because this anti-American, delusional, incompetent, pays no mind to them…and Congress just rubber-stamps almost everything.   Doesn’t anyone have enough backbone to just call him an out-and-out liar?

            Before this one, Jimmy Carter was considered the worst ever…but he was an American.   He served in the United States Navy.   He worked for Habitat, and may still be doing that.   His thinking may be a bit loony now and then, but he lived the American Experience and knew how this country worked because he had worked in it.   Carter ran a business.   He was a peanut farmer, which is probably a big jump up from being a community organizer.   Looking back, I worked in the Carter campaign in my hometown.   I put out signs and made phone calls because I believed in the man.   The Prince Of Darkness only stirs feelings of dread in me.   Never, in my wildest dreams, would I have imagined that we would have a leader that was deliberately destroying our nation!   In that moment of truth when Barack Hussein Obama told the audience that he would “fundamentally transform” America, we should have asked, “Into what?”   We have become a laughing-stock, politically, economically and, worst of all, militarily.

            Barack Hussein Obama has, as one of my listeners put it, the common sense of table salt.   A good military lawyer could probably find enough charges up to and including treason, to remove him from office…by a military coup if necessary.  Oh, and if you didn’t know, that is in the Declaration Of Independence, and you can look it up.   We, as Americans, got rid of the king in 1776, so why would we want one now?   Look around.   How many foreign nationals, from who-knows-where, are in your city now?  In a pinch who are they going to follow?   People that want to send them back to whatever hellhole they came from, or the people that got them here, and give them all sorts of freebies?   People pour in through our open border on the southern part of the country and you just know that not all of them are looking for work.   Some of them are looking to get lost in America until it’s time to strike.

            “I could have ended the war in a month. I could have made North Vietnam look like a mud puddle.   You've got to forget about this civilian. Whenever you drop bombs, you're going to hit civilians.”   That was Barry Goldwater speaking about Vietnam, but if we had a real President, he could say that about ISIS now.   Wake up America, your

country needs you…desperately.

LEGACY OF A LUNATIC.

  LEGACY OF A LUNATIC.

            It would seem that the current occupant of the White House is more interested in his legacy than anything else.   It comes before the national security, it comes before the national economy and it comes before anything the American public might have to say.  Many times he has been referred to as delusional because of the way he prioritizes things.   Global warming or climate change, which most Americans think of as the changing of the seasons, is said to be the most threatening to the world.   That’s a very interesting concept, but it has one huge hole in the middle of it…the rest of the developing nations of the world don’t seem to give a damn about what sort of pollution they are spewing out.   A volcano, such as Mount St. Helens, can erupt pretty much with little or no warning, throwing lava and ash all over the place, killing people, plants and animals, with the clouds of ash moving around the earth a couple of times perhaps, before they are disbursed.

            I’ll not bore you again with the definition of delusional…but he certainly fits the bill.   If you keep doing the same thing you’ll get the same results, so the old saying goes, and if you think things will turn out differently then you have a problem with reality.   Our current man in the Oval Office keeps slicing and dicing the population into neat little groups and then pitting them one against another…all the while proclaiming that he’s doing quite the opposite.   There hasn’t been, in my memory, a holder of the highest office in the land, that has caused so much pain and suffering, deliberately.   Yes, he has company in that respect…there is Louis Farrakhan, the New Black Panthers, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, just to name a few.   Do they really want a race war in the United States?   My answer is yes, and sadly, it would be bloody, and short-lived.   If you put a white person next to a black person it’s easy to distinguish one from another, so in a war of the races the “enemy” of whichever side you’re on, is easy to spot.

            Part of the continuing efforts on the part of this person, and his administration, is to not just divide and conquer the United States, but to do so with a private, compliant military.   Any officer in the military in the recent past has probably been asked a few questions, the nature of which would indicate if he or she would follow orders or disobey them when it came to making war on the American public.   From the hollowing-out of the armed forces, to the point where I seriously doubt their ability to defend the homeland, to the obvious militarization of the police forces around the country, to the multi-state maneuvers such as Jade Helm 15, it smacks of “something” going on.   That something that is going on is something that the American public is only vaguely noticing because their attention is being drawn to a different “shiny object”.

            The DKDC syndrome, or “don’t know don’t care” is rampant in America and if you are lucky enough to see some of the “man-in-the-street” interviews by various reporters you might recoil in horror to see just how stupid some(most?) Americans really are.   This too, is part of the imposter-in-chief’s legacy, but to be honest, it has been going on for three, maybe four, generations now.   The potheads and “free thinkers” of the 1960’s and 1970’s are now teachers, college deans and university professors freely throwing out their screwball ideas.   Some students, to be sure, will question the lessons…and like as not they will flunk the course in the most serious of cases, and in the least serious, be questioned and humiliated in front of everyone else.   The phrase of

useful idiot is a term for people perceived as propagandists for a cause whose goals they are not fully aware of, and who are used cynically by the leaders of the cause.  

            These sorts of people are groomed, sometimes for decades, to serve a purpose.

That purpose could be to vote the proper way, to make sure that something happens or doesn’t happen, maybe to be “moles” and only surface in the case of an insurrection which could be fomented from the highest office in the land.   The people that were previously mentioned, whom have been called race-baiters, are only too happy to serve in that capacity.   Through various means they influence the ignorant to serve.   We’ve seen that these people can stir crowds to becoming mobs.  By the way, mob rule could be considered as part and parcel of a democracy.   A republic, on the hand, is an entirely different animal.   This country, according to the US Constitution, runs on the concept of the government can only do what the people permit it to do.   That’s basically the difference between a democracy and a republic.

            Far too many people are willing to accept a lawless government…and the end result of that will be a dictatorship.   Wake up America!

A FEW WORDS ABOUT NON-STORIES.    

I’m not a political expert.  I didn’t stay at a motel chain and pretend that I am one, but I do have an opinion.   On the Confederate flag…that’s one of those 15 minutes of fame things.   The people who see nothing wrong with it, you stand over here, and the people that see that it represents hate, you stand over there.   This is the way it’s been and I’ll bet a steak dinner that this is the way it’s going to remain.  Oh sure, one side or the other may gain or lose a few people but by and large it will remain as I’ve described it.   In the market place you have(or had) a choice…you could buy a Confederate flag or not.   Now, due to mass hysteria, that choice has been taken away.

            Another non-story is anything concerning that pipsqueak, Ariana Grande.   Just tell her that if she dislikes this country so much, get the hell out and find another that suits her.   As a matter of fact, nothing about celebrities is of interest when compared to national defense.   The main character in Fiddler On The Roof observes that if you’re rich they think you know, and that’s nowhere near being true.   If you listen to some of these celebrities they sound like idiotic children, complete with bad grammar.

            The sworn enemy of the United States (and no, I’m not talking about the President this time), is patiently waiting for us to implode.   The story goes that a high-echelon Imam said that the west has watches, while Islam has the calendar.   Another interpretation of that means that if something takes one hundred years to accomplish, they will take the time to get it done.   So, if you’re assigning priorities, the safety of the country should be number one…because if that fails, everything else doesn’t matter.  In our dealings with Iran we have Tweedle dee and Tweedle dum in charge.   While Iran’s top guys are yelling “Death To America” and “Death To Israel” we’re giving away the farm and allowing them to continue on the path to obtaining a nuclear weapon…or several…while declaring that climate change is the biggest threat.

            Now a few words about that San Francisco murder recently.    He’s in San Francisco because it’s a sanctuary city and, if you don’t know what that is, a sanctuary city is a term given to a city in the United States or Canada that follows certain practices that protect Illegal immigration.   The term generally applies to cities that do not allow municipal funds or resources to be used to enforce federal immigration laws, usually by not allowing police or municipal employees to inquire about an individual's immigration status.   The recent murder of a woman in San Francisco, by an illegal alien(who had been deported 5 times and had a rap sheet a mile long) was a good example.  He chose San Francisco because it IS a sanctuary city.   Since there were eyewitnesses, and he has confessed to the shooting, there is no need for a trial.  Take him to the back of the jail, he can either kneel or stand, and you put one large-caliber bullet in the back of his head.  Period.  No long drawn-out trial, no feeding and taking care of him, and definitely no chance he’ll ever do that, or anything else, ever again.

            In another instance of a non-story, the changing of team names.  The other day, president Obama demonstrated the ability of a president to issue an executive order, regardless of how beleaguered he happens to be. Or, apparently, regardless of how little sense it makes.   He said in a speech ..."How can we hope to secure the blessings of democracy on foreign lands if the bombs we drop on them have hurtful, outmoded names," said the president. "Therefore I have issued an executive order, effective immediately, changing the name of the Tomahawk Cruise Missile to the Freedom Missile."   I find that rather curious. The United States Navy owns roughly 3,500 Tomahawk cruise missiles of all types. Their combined worth is $2.6 billion. The Navy estimates that "rebranding" these missiles will cost nearly $3.5 million.   So, my friends and fellow citizens, you now understand one more reason why your taxes are so high in this great land of ours. But I am still wondering something. I really do not understand how the name of the bomb is gonna matter to someone when we drop it on them.   They ain't gonna like it much no matter what we call the damn thing.   Oh well, I'm not the president…but if I was things would be different!  Why is it, I wonder, that it takes a national tragedy to pull us together?   Another thing that I find curious and that is that the United States doesn’t ordinarily make the first strike.  That, in itself, could be fatal, or nearly so.

IS IT JUST ME…OR IS THE PRESIDENT A NUT-JOB?

Let me repeat what I’ve put down here before…the clinical definition of delusional: “a false belief that is firmly maintained in spite of incontrovertible and obvious proof to the contrary and in spite of the fact that other members of the culture do not share the belief.”  Once again, my friends, the evidence is overwhelming…we have a madman at the helm of the ship of state.  Never in my memory have we had a person so anti-American in such a powerful position.   To make a claim that, because of him, the United States is “the most respected in the world”, would prove to even a psychology student in their first term that he is out of his mind.

            The United States is the laughing stock of the world now.  No longer feared, no longer trusted and no longer fiscally sound because of the actions of a crazy person.  In anyone’s wildest dreams to think that the United States could sink into the depths to which we have, would be truly unthinkable.   In two horrific terms the imposter has brought America to its knees, following an agenda of a mixture of socialism, communism and anti-colonialism which was his upbringing.  His mentors included outright Communists, Socialists, with written instructions, and bombers of national edifices.   He was selected somewhere along the way, and deliberately groomed to become the President, making him our very own Manchurian Candidate and President.

            In his befogged mind, he believes that he can talk to our sworn enemies and that they will either capitulate or, at the very least, make nice to the United States.   Only a delusional mind would believe that.   Only a puppet, operated by people behind the scenes, would make the decisions that he has…decimating the armed forces, while at the same time desiring illegal, hostile, aliens to serve…to force upon the public a health care system that is unworkable, while stating that it was all good…to have an agency which is supposed to be completely non-political, attack any and all who dare to dissent with his craziness.

            This is a man who says one thing, depending upon his audience, and then turns around and does exactly the opposite.  He mouths the words that he, and the United States, are backing Israel, while proposing that they stop retaliating against the rockets and terror attacks that come out of Gaza and the West Bank.   He decried and railed against the so-called “fat cats” in the American while living the high life on the taxpayer’s money.   There is nothing, as far as one can see, that is truthful about this man.   There is serious doubt about this man’s birthplace, where he went to schools, and as a matter of fact, if he attended any of the colleges and universities that he claims to have attended.

            This complete lack of information leads me to call him The Prince Of Darkness because no one can shed any light on his life in any significant manner.   He’s had questionable dealings with a real estate person, Tony Rezko…he’s been a 20 year member of a church that espouses hatred of the United States, but he claims never to have heard any of that…he surrendered his law license in the state of Illinois and no one ever asked why…there are semi-factual stories about his involvement in questionable sexual activities while a member of that same church.   In a nation where information is instantly available on all sorts of places on the internet and social networks, he remains, basically, a man of mystery.

            Whoever the next president may be, and I sincerely hope it will be a sensible one from either side of the political aisle, will have a massive job to do, trying to undo the damage that his or her predecessor has wrought.   If the programs, rules, regulations and executive orders that the current delusional in the White House has promulgated are allowed to run, there is no way the United States can survive.   One of the countries that are potential enemies now might become our real enemy and we are powerless to do anything to stop them.   Our professional military leaders, both active and retired, have said that the military is simply a paper tiger now, hollowed-out and possibly might not be willing to fight for the country they swore to defend.

            Swearing to defend…now, there’s a phrase we might look at a bit closer.  Every president, bar none, has taken the oath “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”   If

anyone can deny that the current President has ignored that oath, let him or her step forward.  Upon questioning that individual one could make the assumption that they are also delusional, along with Dear Leader.   How long can America continue to proceed down a path led by the pie-eyed piper?   If you love this America, you are urged to rise up, speak up, do something to unseat this delusional man and his cronies.

WHAT IS A PERFECT CANDIDATE?

Larry’s blog for July 6, 2015  As the list of Republican candidates for President grows, so does my curiosity about them.   As has been stated by many, there is no such thing as a perfect candidate, so you pay attention to the ones that most mirror your thinking.  Right now everybody is throwing out catch-phrases and sound bites to get on the news, and it’s difficult, at least to me, to know what their true belief system is…except for one or two.

            Were I candidate, there would be very short speeches, but my positions would be crystal clear…a complete change in the tax system…a strong, smart, military…take the offensive action to the enemy wherever they are and eliminate them…a sealed southern border…a systematic deportation of illegal aliens…term limits for all federal positions on a national level…no lobbying allowed…all potential bills must be shorter than 200 pages and no riders or attachments allowed.  There probably would be others, as time went by, but you can see where it’s going.   America has to come back from where it’s been put, or the world will suffer.

            What would the world be like if, or when, America has to surrender?  To what would it surrender?   Economically, we may have already surrendered, what with the dollar being replaced as the go-to backup currency in the world.   Militarily, we may have already surrendered, since it’s been said by top military personnel, that we could not fight a long war, possibly on two fronts or foreign lands.   Politically we definitely have surrendered with a lying, incompetent, possibly foreign-born person in the White House whose elections have been made possible by smear campaigns and massive voter fraud, and whose background is opaque.

            Once, when I thought I would run for Mayor of the city in which I lived, one of my opponents(the ultimate winner) said that I didn’t have an original thought in my head…and, to a degree he was right.  My reply was to say that so many people, much smarter than I, had already said good things that we didn’t pay any attention to, that it was a shame.  Here is one of those things, a speech by Teddy Roosevelt, and he said…

“There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all.   This is just as true of the man who puts “native” before the hyphen as of the man who puts German or Irish or English or French before the hyphen. Americanism is a matter of the spirit and of the soul. Our allegiance must be purely to the United States. We must unsparingly condemn any man who holds any other allegiance.   But if he is heartily and singly loyal to this Republic, then no matter where he was born, he is just as good an American as anyone else.

The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English- Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian- Americans, or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality than with the other citizens of the American Republic.   The men who do not become Americans and nothing else are hyphenated Americans; and there ought to be no room for them in this country. The man who calls himself an American citizen and who yet shows by his actions that he is primarily the citizen of a foreign land, plays a thoroughly mischievous part in the life of our body politic. He has no place here; and the sooner he returns to the land to which he feels his real heart-allegiance, the better it will be for every good American.”

Theodore Roosevelt, addressing the Knights of Columbus, New York City- October 12th, 1915.   Folks, it doesn’t get any clearer than that.  If you ask a black person what he or she is, chances are good that they will tell you they are African-American.  If you quiz them about what part of Africa they came from you’ll find out that they didn’t come from Africa at all!   Any immigrant, legal or illegal, that finds this country’s traditions and values offensive should be shipped out, PDQ, to whatever place they seem to prefer.
