WELL, LOOKEE HERE…

WELL, LOOKEE HERE…
I didn’t see anything about this in the American media, except in a Conservative blog, but it was covered in full by the Daily Mail, in the United Kingdom.
Remember the blocked road in Arizona, the one that led to where Donald Trump was to give a speech?  It was blocked by people and vehicles and the TV helicopters were all over the place but you didn’t get the real story.  Oh sure, people have a right to dissent, to disagree, to hold signs and placards…but they don’t have a right to block a road.  When the law came in and started clearing the place they found one of the young ladies, a Jacinta Gonzalez, had tied herself to a door of a vehicle blocking the road.  Gonzalez, who is originally from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico was in protest against the anti-immigrant views that Trump has spoken out about while on the campaign trail.  It isn’t known, at least by me, if she is in the United States legally or not.  Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said that Gonzalez along with Michael Cassidy and Stephany Laughlin, who goes by the name of Ben, were arrested for a charge of blocking a public road.   As Cassidy and Laughlin were released around 1 AM on Sunday, Gonzalez claims that she was put on an ICE 'hold' instead of released on her own accord.
Gonzalez is a 2011 recipient of the Soros Justice Fellowship and graduated from Wesleyan University.   Gonzalez, was a lead organizer of the Congress of Day Laborers with the New Orleans Workers Center for Racial Justice.   In 2011 she was awarded the Soros Justice Fellowship, which grants between $58,000 to $110,000 to individuals to undertake projects that advance reform, catalyze change on a range of issues facing the criminal justice system in the US and spur debate.  The Wesleyan University graduate is a recipient of the New Voices Fellowship, and has also studied at the School of International Training in Durban, South Africa, and the Universidade Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela, according to Open Society Foundations.   So here we have the long arm of George Soros inserting itself, once again, into a political situation.   Lookee here, folks, this is NOT how the First Amendment works, or is supposed to work.
Way back in 2011, Holland began to take serious notice of the changing face of the country.  A new integration bill, which Dutch Interior Minister Piet Hein Donner presented to parliament on June 16, 2011 reads: "The government shares the social dissatisfaction over the multicultural society model and plans to shift priority to the values of the Dutch people. In the new integration system, the values of the Dutch society play a central role. With this change, the government steps away from the model of a multicultural society."   ."   The government will introduce new legislation that outlaws forced marriages and will also impose tougher measures against Muslim immigrants who lower their chances of employment by the way they dress. More specifically, the government will impose a ban on face-covering Islamic burqas as of January 1, 2013.   Holland has done that whole liberal thing and realized - maybe too late - that creating a nation of tribes will kill the nation itself. Imagine that folks…they actually had to pass a bill to keep Dutch values.   Fast forward to August 4, 2015, in the American Thinker and what are you seeing?   Immigrants will be required to learn the Dutch language and no exceptions to obedience to Dutch law will be allowed for followers of sharia.  In addition, the government will stop subsidizing Muslims and making special criteria for their employment...and will ban the burqa: The government will also stop offering special subsidies for Muslim immigrants because, according to Donner, "it is not the government's job to integrate immigrants." The government will introduce new legislation that outlaws forced marriages and will also impose tougher measures against Muslim immigrants who lower their chances of employment by the way they dress.  Has it gotten any better in Holland…Germany…or Sweden…or France…or Belgium, or anywhere in Europe?   The answer is no.  It has gotten worse, and will continue to get worse unless, and until, drastic measures are taken.
America is on the horizon for these barbarians.  Make no mistake about that.  Anyone who tells you otherwise is just blowing smoke into your nether regions, and for many Americans, that’s where their heads are.   You have to wake up to the facts, and even if you ignore the facts they are still facts.  One of those facts is that these savages have world domination as their goal and they will try to achieve it by any means necessary.   If that means “by the sword” or by stealth jihad, they are going to keep trying.   Another fact is that we, the United States, have to regain not only economic power, but also the prestige of a mighty Armed Forces.   No American should have to look over their shoulder all the time to see if someone is coming at them with an axe.
Lookee here…we have a chance to make it morning in America again, to be that shining city on the hill…but it’s going to take people with spines and testicles to do what is necessary.   Wake up America, your country needs you…desperately.

AMERICAN CLASSICS…

AMERICAN CLASSICS
I have attended many automobile shows over the years and have seen many different types of vehicles, some of which became American Classics, for whatever reason.  There was Deusenberg, Cord, Packard or LaSalle, just some of the names that conjured up dreams to dream.  Maybe it was the design, maybe it was the speed, maybe it was the mystique behind the name, but they had become American Classics.
That term also applies to other fields as well.  People of my generation always recognize the music of Glenn Miller.   They don’t have to be told who it is…they know.
When Artie Shaw hits the licorice stick, they know who it is, as they know when Gene Krupa hits the skins.   American Classics include crooners like Bing Crosby, and for the comic sidekick, his sometimes foil, Bob Hope.  Mr. Hope was, all by himself, an American Classic for the seemingly endless work he and his troupes did for the troops.   Pairs of comedians like Laurel and Hardy, Martin and Lewis, Abbott and Costello…American Classics every one.
We’ve had outstanding sports figures as well.  The Iron Man, Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson and Satchel Paige…American Classics.   Then there were the cadets at the US Military Academy, Glenn Davis and Felix “Doc” Blanchard, known as Mr. Outside and Mr. Inside, respectively.   Arthur Ashe, as fine a tennis player and as nice a person as anyone could want to meet…American Classics, all of them.
Even in politics, that evil, twisted game of power, there have been American Classics.   Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Harry Truman, John Fitzgerald Kennedy and yes, Gerald Ford.  They played the game, as TR might have said, and they played it well and because they did, at least in my mind they are American Classics.   Or how about Condaleeza Rice, Maya Angelou, and Leontyne Price…not only for being classics, but breaking another color barrier.
We mustn’t forget the wonder-filled films that are American Classics either.  For as long as movies last, a trio of Humphrey Bogart films are American Classics; The African Queen, Casablanca and The Maltese Falcon.   Gone With The Wind is a classic love story with a background of the Civil War and the burning of Atlanta.   The Godfather, with its penetrating look into the workings of the Mafia, certainly is one of the American Classics.   Patton, a near-to-true story of a great American general is one of several wartime classics, as is Twelve O’clock High and Bomber Command.   Jimmy Stewart was not only a movie star but a true American hero, along with literally dozens of Hollywood names that served our country.
We’ve had business people who were American Classics.   Steve Jobs, Henry Ford, George Westinghouse, just to name a few.   Thomas Edison, Nicola Tesla were inventors, and Buffalo Bill Cody sort of tamed the Wild West, while Barney Oldfield burned up the early automobile racetracks.  There was David Sarnoff and Allen Dumont, both played a huge part in our television viewing.  In front of the TV cameras were Lucille Ball, George Burns and Rod Serling and so many…it’s difficult to name all of them.
While not exactly people to be emulated, we had some pretty well-known figures in gangsters as well.   Al Capone comes to mind, as does Machine-gun Kelly, Babyface Nelson and from way back, Jesse James.   You may not think of them as American Classics, but they are.  Anyone, and anything, that is pure American and sticks out in our memory…well, that’s an American Classic to me.  For me, I have a personal American Classic…my father.   Dropped out of school in the third grade, grew up before and during the depression, had a family and, for a guy that wasn’t book-smart he could do the New York Times crossword puzzle with a pen.  That’s a classic to me.
You might not think of a comic book hero as an American Classic, but they were.
Superman and Batman came along at a time when this country desperately needed a hero even if it was fictional.   The battle of the Alamo provided us with heroes like Jim Bowie, Davy Crockett and William Travis along with many others.   America has produced so many classics in so many fields…to name them all would take volumes.
Who are your American Classics?   Surely there must be some that have come along during your lifetime.  Think about it…maybe shape your lives like that of your heroes.   If they’re the right kind, it could be the best thing you ever did for yourself.
I have been reminded that many people of my age are classics as well.  We have seen and done things that our children and grandchildren will never experience…and that is a shame.   The world changes, but American Classics go on.

WHOSE CONSTITUTION IS IT?

WHOSE CONSTITUTION IS IT?
We have, along with a Declaration of Independence, a set of laws in this country that our founding fathers laid out, knowing full well the consequences of their actions.  A handful of then-colonists dared to object to what rules and regulations were being enacted without any input from them…and their opponent was one of, if not THE, strongest nation on the face of the earth at the time.   Once independence was declared, it was necessary to defend that action, and the colonists did…and the United States was born.  It wasn’t easy, it wasn’t without bloodshed, and it wasn’t without some bickering among the signers of the documents…but it was done, and we’re here today and we are the recipients of those actions.
There were those then, and we have some like them today, that want to return to some other form of government, rather than the republic we have.   They profess to want a democracy.   Do they understand what a democracy is?   According to Webster’s Dictionary a democracy is actions by majority rule.  Maybe this will make it somewhat clearer…three animals, two wolves and a sheep are deciding what to have for dinner.  Do you want to put any money on which way that vote will go?   Democracy has been likened to mob rule, but that may be a bit harsh, but nevertheless it is majority rule.
On the other hand, we are a republic, which is vastly different from a democracy.
Here’s an explanation of  a republic…A  Republic, on the other hand, has a very different purpose and an entirely different form, or system, of government. Its purpose is to control The Majority strictly, as well as all others among the people, primarily to protect The Individual’s God-given, unalienable rights and therefore for the protection of the rights of The Minority, of all minorities, and the liberties of people in general. The definition of a Republic is: a constitutionally limited government of the representative type, created by a written Constitution--adopted by the people and changeable (from its original meaning) by them only by its amendment--with its powers divided between three separate Branches: Executive, Legislative and Judicial. Here the term "the people" means, of course, the electorate.  This excerpt is from The American Ideal of 1776: The Twelve Basic American Principles.
The United States has stumbled now and then, in its rise to the leadership of the free world.   Whatever mistakes we’ve made, have been acknowledged and corrected.  We fought a war between American citizens over the question of states rights and slavery, and eventually we corrected that.   We’ve fought two World Wars to defeat enemies that had ultimate slavery for the defeated in their plans.   Throughout all of it Americans depended on, quoted from, lived, the documents that the founding fathers put together.   All of that is now in question…why?
Islam, the cult of rape, murder and mayhem has been allowed to run rampant through the world.   The followers of the Moon God of 1400 years ago commit the most heinous of crimes in the belief that these acts are condoned.   The goal of every true believer in Islam is the submission of the entire world…and only then will there be peace, according to the Quran.   Muslims, true believers that is, can never be anything but Muslims, owing their allegiance to the Moon God and ONLY the Moon God.   In any country that they inhabit, in any sizable portion, it is desirable to return to the seventh century and because they love death more than we love life, they will gladly sacrifice themselves so that they can reach the paradise they are told is waiting for them.
Our United States Constitution is the highest law in our country.   There is no room for any foreign law.   There is no room for people who wish to fundamentally transform this country into something resembling a devolvement into a tribal land, with warlords holding sway over a little piece.   There is no room for people who truly believe that terror is a legitimate way of life.   There is no room for people who do not wish to assimilate into the mainstream of American life.   Immigrants have always been welcome, as indicated by the notion that America is a melting pot, but the system has to be upheld, and immigrants have to come here with the idea of becoming Americans.
There are those in this country now who wish to negate large parts of the United States Constitution and the amendments thereto.    This cannot be allowed to happen.
America is, as Herbert Hoover said is , “… a great social and economic experiment, noble in motive and far-reaching in purpose.”   Shall we abandon that premise and let the barbarians take over and wreak their particular kind of hellish terror on us?   The United States Constitution protects us, and we have to protect it…and all of its amendments.  We have choices to make, so wake up America…your country needs you…desperately.

I THINK OBAMA HAS A MEMORY PROBLEM.

I borrowed this because it’s written so very well.  Jimmy Terrell, writing in the Barrow County(GA) News, February 2, 2016, and he says… I THINK OBAMA HAS A MEMORY PROBLEM.
On one day he’ll say something specific to a subject and then a short time later he says the opposite. Take gun control for instance.   Obama has said on numerous occasions: “We must ban all assault weapons because federal background checks simply don’t work.”   Yet, when Obama was pressed about the number of Muslim refugees coming into this country, the President said, “Don’t worry about 100,000 Muslim refugees. They are all getting federal background checks,” indicating background checks work!   I think he missed something there since the same people do the background checks.
And just Monday, on national news, there was a story about a Mexican national who boarded a flight in Mexico to New York City. When the plane landed in New York, the Mexican national walked right through the airport without going through customs.
Do you see something wrong with this picture?   Our own Georgia Congressman Rob Woodall released a news item this week explaining that once again Obama was ignoring the law and doing as he pleased.   As a result of the terrorists attacks in Paris, Congress passed a bill, which the President signed into law, prohibiting people who are citizens of one of 38 Visa Waiver Program countries from participating in the program should they have dual citizenship or if they have visited in Iran, Syria, Sudan or Iraq.
The law is designed to reduce opportunities for ISIS sympathizers and others who want to do us harm from entering the country and taking advantage of our country’s good will.   After signing the law several weeks ago, just last week Obama decided to ignore the law and directed the State Department to create a special exemption for people who traveled to Iran for “legitimate business dealings” following the Obama/Iran nuclear deal.   To be honest, I’m not sure there are any legitimate business deals with Iran. And so goes life in the United States.
Obama seems to care less that we have a Constitution and a Bill of Rights.   While we are on Washington and Obama, a federal judge has ordered the Obama Administration to provide evidence that has been requested in the “Fast and Furious” investigation. This one goes back several years when the Obama Administration allowed the ATF to sell guns illegally to outlaws in Mexico.   One of those weapons was used to murder a U.S. Border Patrol agent. The weapon was recovered and identified by serial number along with other forensic evidence.   The Judge has chastised Obama for not following his court order and giving Congress the evidence as requested. Obviously, Obama is above the law as are the other Democrats that ride his coattails.
Speaking of guns, a friend sent me an email about a lady named Trisha Bishop. Miss Bishop is a journalism graduate and writes on the editorial page of the Baltimore Sun.   She wants a national gun registry created with a public, on-line, searchable list of every person in America who owns a firearm. She is afraid of going to someone’s home who might have a firearm in the house.   Her fear was raised to another level during the Christmas holidays while driving through Georgia. She saw billboards recommending “A Glock for Christmas.” Glock is the name of a firearm and the firearm manufacturer is based in Smyrna.   She supposedly recently wrote: “I’m less afraid of the criminals wielding guns in Baltimore, than I am by those permitted gun owners.” Thank goodness she safely made it out of the state back to her residence in Maryland.   Remember, however, there are others like her and they walk among us!
And, here’s one to think about this week.   We can’t pray in our schools, talk about the Bible, and, in some cases, salute the American flag or say the Pledge of Allegiance. Some schools have even banned t-shirts that show the American flag.
However, school systems across the country have been encouraged to teach the Islamic Quran, dress in Syrian or other Mid-eastern clothing, learn Islamic prayers, and allow time for the Muslim prayers.   We were promised “change” when Obama was elected to office. No one had any idea what that promise involved. But change we have!
Well, there you have it my friends…someone who isn’t looking at America through rose-colored glasses…someone who isn’t afraid to say what he means and mean what he says…someone who, obviously, is not a supporter of the status quo.   I welcome Mr. Terrell to the growing number of patriots who are raising their voices in opposition to the quiet surrender of our beloved country.  I would differ from Mr. Terrell’s great article in one respect.  He says Barack Hussein Obama has a bad memory, but I believe it’s not memory, it’s part of a gigantic plan to take over the United States.  Wake up America, your country needs you…desperately.
