HAS THE WORLD GONE COMPLETELY MAD?

HAS THE WORLD GONE COMPLETELY MAD?

The dhimmi's(and you can look that up if you don't already know it) attitude about almost everything connected with Islam is that the barbarians represent a fanatical minority.  I hope you're sitting down because that, my friends, is a big fat lie...but as Joseph Goebbels once opined, if you tell a big lie often enough people will start to believe it.   So, when you hear a Muslim say that Islam is a religion of peace, just figure that they are practicing taqiyya and don't believe a word they say.   Islam says it is at war with the United States, but our dear leader in his I-live-in-my-own-little-world mentality will not accept that premise because he knows better.  There are, and have been signs along the road, that should have been noticed, but weren't.   You've probably read, or heard, Winston Churchill's estimation of what was then called Mohammedism, and it wasn't good, but it was accurate...and it was from 1895 I think.

Our dear leader is delusional.  Period.   In addition to being incompetent, a liar, and a traitor, he really believes the BS that he spouts on a regular basis.   He has no head for governing but he's a great on-the-road campaigner.   He has no tact or finesse in dealing with foreign heads of state, but will bow down to those he believes to be his superiors.   How did a person like this get to be the leader of the free world, the most powerful man on earth?   The first election was, in my opinion, a social experiment, but there was no excuse for the second, unless you want to factor in mass voter fraud.   He will deal with Iran, secretly, and they are our sworn enemy, but he will show a hostility never before seen by an American government, to Israel, which used to be our staunchest ally.   He will send arms and money to a government in Egypt which was then headed by a key member of the Muslim Brotherhood, but will not name them as a terrorist organization...even though they have been called that by other Arab countries.

There is a distinct difference between leading and leading-from-behind.   The former is exactly what it says and the latter is following.  Period.   His plan to fundamentally transform America was never questioned, and it really should have been because we HAVE been transformed, nearly completely, into a questionable first-rate power with a failing economy and a military that is stretched paper thin.   The imposter-in-chief is really nothing more than a community organizer who, by manipulation and deviousness, managed to glom onto the seat of power.   The power behind the throne, so to speak, has to be someone, or several someones, that have expressed a desire, a plan, a modus operandi, to bring down the United States because of some misguided thinking.

Perhaps a word of caution here because it’s easy to become befuddled in one’s thinking.   As an example, two words: police state.   Given the recent spate of barbarous goings-on perpetrated by the so-called fanatic minority of “lone wolf” attacks both here and abroad, you would think that having armed police on every street would be a good thing, right?   On the other hand, given too much power, they could become something right out of the Gestapo handbook, and that would not be a good thing.  Now, let’s not say that our police forces are going in that direction, because I don’t think they are, or would.   True, there are, and have been, several instances where the Constitution and Bill Of Rights have been totally ignored, but in the main, we’re doing alright.

Here’s two more words to consider: gun control.   Talk to any 2nd Amendment proponent and they will tell you that guns, by themselves, do not kill, and they don’t.   It’s when someone picks up that gun with a thought in mind to kill or injure one or more people that guns become dangerous.   On the other side of the coin, anti-gunners will say that whole premise is hogwash and that only the police and the armed forces should have guns.  Me?  I’m a 2nd Amendment guy and here’s why…when seconds count, the police are minutes(or more) away.   I carry a gun because a policeman is too heavy, and I carry because I’m too young to die and too old to take an ass-whupping.   Also, the anti-gunners strike me as not gun controllers, but total controllers…from womb to tomb.

Our founding fathers, some of the most brilliant men of their, or any, time, had it right.   We don’t want a king, an emperor, a dictator or a caliph.   The president presides, the court interprets, and the congress makes the laws.   It might not be perfect, but it’s the next best thing to it and 40 miles ahead of whatever’s in 2nd place.   So, when you listen to the TV news, or read your daily paper, you can ask yourself “has the world gone completely mad” and how do you fit into that daily, ever-changing puzzle?   My Dad told me over and over again, you have to stand for something or you will fall for anything…and he was right.   Stand up for America…because she has stood up for you.

I SEEM TO RECALL THAT...

   I SEEM TO RECALL THAT...

Many years ago, at the beginning of the Johnson administration in 1964, there was a book called "None Dare Call It Treason" by John A. Stormer and when I read it so long ago it seemed that he was a madman.  Of course, then I was a stalwart Democrat and any thought outside of the party line was not just foreign...it was heresy.   I think I should read it again, this time from the vantage point of history, and being a Republican, and a conservative.  You might question why both of those are included, and it's because being a Republican does not automatically make you a conservative any more than standing in a garage makes you a mechanic.  My political choices in the past several years have been conservative and most conservatives are Republicans...does that explain it?

As a kid growing up in Brooklyn, New York, it wasn't apparent that my social status was any different from anyone else's in the neighborhood.  We all donated, we all worried, we all gave what we could, during the war.   When the war was over we all had a big block party and that's a memory I'll cherish to my dying day.   I seem to recall that, just in our building, which was a 4-story apartment building, we had displaced persons, or "DP's" from all over Europe.   There were Brits, Italians, Spaniards and yes, a couple of Germans who fled for the right reasons.   Their kids and I formed our little "gang" and hung out on the street corners...that is, until one or more of the mothers yelled out the window that it was getting dark and we had to come in...not just her kid, ALL of us.   My guess is that it isn't like that anymore, even in Brooklyn.

Recollections of ten-cent movies, double-features at that, with the news, a cartoon and coming attractions, nickle candy bars and five cent bags of popcorn that you almost couldn't finish...but you did.   We learned all sorts of interesting things in school...how to write what they now call cursive but what we called handwriting.  Geography was a subject that encompassed many things, among them where the place was, what the major products were, and the population, both in numbers and style.   There were music appreciation classes and while I never actually liked them, it was an introduction to things that I would later come to know and like.   The boys had shop classes where we learned the basics of about half-a-dozen trades and tried not to lose any vital parts of our bodies.   The girls had home economics, which covered a multitude of things besides cooking.

We had the radio and a wonderful device it was too.   You'd listen to your favorite show, and you knew the exact time and day that it came on.   A season was a year long only broken by the Christmas holidays and then it was back to the adventures...The Shadow, The Inner Sanctum, I Love A Mystery, and many, many more.   The comedians were funny and there was never a dirty word that you heard.   I recall that many people who persisted in radio went on to become big stars in the movies and on that new thing...television.   Technicolor movies were rare, mostly musicals, although now and then there'd be an adventure movie.   We had Saturday, blessed Saturday!   In the mornings it was cartoons and in the afternoons it was the serials at the movies.  Our heroes, and we had many, were always in a tight spot that we just KNEW they couldn't get out of...but they did.

All in all, recollections are good...and memories tend to obliterate the bad things, which is a good thing.  Ah yes, I remember it well...like it was yesterday, but it was a long ago time and it will never be again.   I am SO glad that I lived in that time.

STUFF FROM THE BACK OF THE DESK DRAWER.

STUFF FROM THE BACK OF THE DESK DRAWER.

If anyone doubts that ignorance and apathy are not hard at work in this country, just read from these clippings.  Between the “don’t know and don’t care syndrome” and stealth jihad, the rate at which this country is being dumbed-down is astonishing.  Fourth grade students in Vermilion Parish, La. were given a homework assignment that included words like “Po Pimp” and “mobstaz,” but school officials said the worksheet was age appropriate based on an education website affiliated with Common Core education standards.   The worksheet, obtained by Fox Radio affiliate KPEL provided contextual examples of the word “twist.” It included references to tornadoes and the 1950’s dance craze – the “Twist.”   But it also included a paragraph about “Twista” – a rapper with the group Speedknot Mobstaz who performs a single titled, “Po-Pimp.”  This was from Fox News Insider, Sept. 19, 2013.

Here’s two quotes that need to be read over and over until they sink in:

“No power on earth has a right to take our property from us without our consent.”—John Jay, first Chief Justice of the United States and this one, “How ‘secure’ do our homes remain if police, armed with no warrant, can pound on doors at will and forcibly enter?”—Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the lone dissenter in Kentucky v. King.   If the government can tell you what you can and cannot do within the privacy of your home, whether it relates to what you eat, what you smoke or whom you love, you no longer have any rights whatsoever within your home.

If government officials can fine and arrest you for growing vegetables in your front yard, praying with friends in your living room, installing solar panels on your roof, and raising chickens in your backyard, you’re no longer the owner of your property. If school officials can punish your children for what they do or say while at home or in your care, your children are not your own—they are the property of the state.   This is what a world without the Fourth Amendment looks like, where the lines between private and public property have been so blurred that private property is reduced to little more than something the government can use to control, manipulate and harass you to suit its own purposes, and you the homeowner and citizen have been reduced to little more than a tenant or serf in bondage to an inflexible landlord.   That’s the thoughts of John W. Whitehead, writing in Western Journalism on December 9, 2013.

About this time last year the governor of Michigan(istan) wanted to issue or have issued, visas to “immigrants” who would move to Detroit and stay there at least five years.   The Republican governor has routinely touted immigration as a powerful potential force for growing Detroit's economy, saying immigrant entrepreneurs start many small businesses and file patents at twice the rate of U.S.-born citizens.   The proposal involves EB-2 visas, which are offered every year to legal immigrants who have advanced degrees or show exceptional ability in certain fields.   But the governor's ambitious plan faces significant hurdles: The visas are not currently allocated by region or state. And the number he is seeking — 50,000 over five years — would be a quarter of the total EB-2 visas offered.   The governor's proposal seemed to take officials by surprise at the State Department, which works with the Homeland Security Department to decide on visa requests.   That was in CNS News, January 23, 2014 by David Eggert.

Suppose you saw a young person destroying a memorial, what would you do?  I know what I’d do, but that’s for another day.   The Daily Caller, on August 12, 2013 reported that such an event had taken place.  Bobby Soave wrote this about that. Protesters at Middlebury College in Vermont uprooted 2,977 flags that were part of a 9/11 memorial display.   The flags symbolize each of the 2,977 people who died in the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001. The College Republicans and Democrats have jointly planted the flags in a field on campus every year for the last decade.

But this year, Ben Kinney, president of the College Republicans,  happened to be walking by the display as 5 protesters finished removing the last of the flags and placing them in trash bags.   “At first, I thought the group was comprised of College Democrats helping put the flags away before the rain rolled in, but then I realized what they were doing,” said Kinney in a statement to The Middlebury Campus.   The protesters, at least one of whom was a student , explained that they were “confiscating” the flags in order to take a stand against U.S. imperialism.   The college condemned the act of vandalism in a statement to The Daily Caller.

It does seem to me that in the dumbing-down process the generations coming after mine are losing not just patriotism, and general knowledge, but the will to be individuals that think for themselves is being sapped.  Maybe I’ll have to agree with Gruber…Americans are stupid…aren’t we?

MAGICAL JEWS AND OTHER FABLES.

MAGICAL JEWS AND OTHER FABLES.

File this in the “I-can’t-believe-someone-said-that” file, but it’s real.  In a recent interview with some Muslims in and around Paris, a reporter for the Jewish Press talked to the widow of the editor of Charlie Hedbo.  This is what she, the widow, had to say…

“Well, I went out to what they call the suburbs of France which are not what Americans think of as the suburbs, really the housing projects that’re outside Paris and there are a couple of areas inside Paris where a lot of poor Muslims live. I talked to cross section of mainly French Algerian young men who said to me it was pretty much they felt the attacks were actually a conspiracy by the Jews to make Muslims look bad. One person told me that in fact they weren’t just “regular” Jews that were doing this, in fact they were a race of magical Jews, shape shifting Jews, master manipulators that could be everywhere at the same time.”

Folks, it should be obvious that generations of in-breeding, little or no contact with real civilization, that is, the western world, coupled with bestiality, condoned child-rape and every other heinous and/or stupid thing you can think of, produces people with thought processes like that.

I’ll say what is being thought…the western world, and primarily America and Israel are at war with Islam.  The BS being foisted on westerners, that Islam is a religion of peace, is just that…BS.  Another load of BS is his non-appearance in Paris, when the official White House schedule log/journal showed he had nothing scheduled for that day.  Being the supreme narcissist that he is he had a statement issued saying, at first, that his going would be too much of a strain on the security forces for him to attend.   When that didn’t fly, the next story that was trotted out was that he didn’t know about it until he saw it on the television.  If anyone bought THAT one, they’re just as delusional as he is.

For my money, Ms Jarret IS the president and what she says goes…and when she says don’t go, the puppet doesn’t go.  Of course, that could have been an opening for Uncle Joe Biden to go…but he didn’t make an appearance either and, maybe that was a good thing too because God only knows what he would have said.   Lurch/Kerry was in Pakistan doing what he does best, which is screwing up.   Even now I don’t understand how he ever got that job.  He was a bad soldier, he was an ineffective Senator, and he’s a stupid Secretary of State.   Someone once said that the president was the smartest person in the room…well, yeah, if you surround yourself with idiots, which is what he’s done.

Here’s another fable that is bound to be trotted out once the Republicans have a slate of candidates: the Republican party is the party of “no”.   Some time back I mentioned this and maybe it’s a good thing for the GOP to say NO.  Let’s say no to the dumbing-down of our kids; to the convoluted tax system that drives our corporations overseas and deprives Americans of jobs; the weakening of our homeland security as well as our armed forces; to the hundreds, maybe thousands, of regulations that are strangling small businesses and energy producers.   Maybe it’s time to say NO to the career politicians by enacting term limits; to make EVERY candidate for a national federal job be fully vetted by the Senate; and what about saying NO to the lawlessness of a rogue president?  That, my friends, are just some of the things that the Republican party can say NO to…and here’s another, maybe the most important thing…say NO to the idea that the party, on either side of the aisle, comes before the country.

Finally, maybe the fable-to-end-all-fables…”it can’t happen here”.  For pretty much most of the 20th Century, the United States was insulated from what happened in other parts of the world.  We had oceans between us and Europe and between us and the Asian countries.  We had borders that were relatively secure, compared to what they are now.  All that has changed.  IT, no matter what “it” is, CAN happen here and in some cases already has.   Our borders, especially the southern one, are very porous.  A fifteen minute warning is about all you can expect if a nuclear missile is on its way to the US.   I’m told that coastal ports are not being adequately protected and that a suitcase bomb, dirty or not, could come in, and even now the enemy is working on so-called “invisible” bombs that cannot be detected.

EMBARRASSING...TO SAY THE LEAST

EMBARRASSING...TO SAY THE LEAST.

When the leaders of countries got together in Paris recently, because of the terrorist slaughter there, all the major, and a few of the minor, leaders were there.   Who was missing?   Who is allegedly the "leader of the free world"?  Who is it that cannot, and will not, utter the words "Muslim" and "terrorist" in the same sentence?   The answer to all of those questions is...the Muslim in the White House.   The message that our government sent is that it wasn’t important enough to send a high-ranking individual to represent the United States.  The person that went, the Attorney General, is a man who has been found in contempt of Congress, and pretty much a carbon copy of the president(no pun intended).  There can be no mistake that the imposter-in-the Oval Office is delusional, and we do not need a mentally-disturbed person leading our country.  He should do the honorable thing and resign...but then, he's not an honorable man.  What he IS, is a small-minded, delusional, incompetent, lying, probably foreign-born community organizer who is WHERE he is because of the people who have manipulated his life for years and years.

For years, literally, my mantra has been to oust him, by whatever legal means are available.   I recall that, many years ago, the CEO of Montgomery Ward, was physically removed from his office by troops of the US Army.   Not being a lawyer, I don't know if that's a legal move today, but if it could be done, then the current occupant of the White House should be confronted by a squad of troops, and physically escorted out of the White House and, perhaps, to a courtroom where he could be tried...for treason.   That might amount to a military coup, but it might not...the one thing that it definitely would do is to bring the vice president into the picture.   Joe Biden is no brain-trust in my opinion, and he makes a lot of verbal gaffes, but we KNOW he's an American.

Following the terrorist attack in Paris, the usual dhimmis got on TV and proclaimed that because America has more guns than most, if not all, countries, should something like that happen here, there might be more bloodshed.   Of course, my fall-back answer to that would be that a bad guy with a gun can be stopped by a good guy with a gun.   Can we prevent terrorist acts in America?  The short answer is no, but we can minimize them by good police action, alertness of your surroundings, and, by carrying a concealed weapon.   A person in a gun-free zone, who is not armed(because they're obeying the wishes of the establishment) may be considered a potential victim.   Gun-free zones are, as one person noted, a shooting gallery with no chance that anyone will shoot back.

My closer on my radio show is the quote from JFK, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”, and that has never been more important, or truer, than now.   If you cannot understand that we are slip-sliding into mediocrity, perhaps into just being a footnote in history, then it’s time somebody got you and shook you awake.  At no time in my life that I can remember, except during World War Two, was there a chance that we might have to surrender to another country.  That is now a definite possibility and the blame falls right at the feet of the imposter-in-the White House.  As you read this, what goes through your mind?  Do you think that (a) it can’t happen to America, (b) my thinking is alarmist, or (c) that I just might be right?   Do you want to bet your life on that?

Since this is a political blog, and I’m both a commentator and a reporter, let me look ahead to 2016.  Simply stated, in my opinion, if Mrs. Clinton is the nominee, that would be a continuation of the policies of the current president, and we can look around and see where he has brought us.  There is nothing in her political life that stands out as an event, except the murder of the four Americans in Benghazi.  On the other side of the coin, the Republican nominee should be ready to step in, on Day One, and begin the tearing-down of the huge bureaucracy that has been needlessly created.  It would be my preference, of course, that the GOP nominee be successful, and further, it would be my preference to have Mitt Romney to be that winner.

I’m going to close with this quote, from a man that is far more brilliant than I could ever hope to be, that I believe is appropriate for this time and circumstance: “I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”----Albert Einstein.   Think about it, maybe in-between watching your football or basketball games.

BEING A CELEBRITY DOESN’T AUTOMATICALLY MAKE YOU SMART

BEING A CELEBRITY DOESN’T AUTOMATICALLY MAKE YOU SMART

This is a conversation between Bill O’Reilly and Whoopi Goldberg, so just follow along.   From Media Research Center(MRC), we have this headline…Whoopi Goldberg Doesn't Believe Japanese Attacked Pearl Harbor, Thinks Muslims More Persecuted Than Jews,  by Noel Sheppard, November 24, 2010 and he says…Whoopi Goldberg on Tuesday demonstrated an absolutely staggering ignorance concerning a variety of subjects. Appearing on Fox News's "O'Reilly Factor," Goldberg admitted not knowing what a madrasa is, said it wasn't the Japanese that attacked America at Pearl Harbor, and claimed Muslims in America are more persecuted than Jews.   BILL O'REILLY, Host: Do you believe in the world, we have a Muslim problem? WHOOPI GOLDBERG: No. GOLDBERG: Bill, do you think that the people in Pakistan, the people who live in Pakistan, the poor people, the people who don't have any say, you think they don't want help to help the West? O'REILLY: A lot of them don't. The madrasa -- do you know what a madrasa is? GOLDBERG: No, I don't. O'REILLY: OK. Madrasa is a school that teaches Islamic jihad and there are madrasas all over the Muslim world. They teach 4 and 5-year-old kids to hate people. GOLDBERG: Bill, that may be true -- O'REILLY: It is true. GOLDBERG: It may be true. I can't prove it. O'REILLY: I can. GOLDBERG: You've clearly been to them and I will take your word for it. But that does not change the fact that when you paint all Muslims with one brush, it's bad. O'REILLY: I'm not painting all Muslims with one brush. GOLDBERG: But when you say Muslims killed us, when you don't specify. It's like saying whenever I see black men coming down the street, I'm scared. That's the same -- O'REILLY: Do you have a problem in history when you were taught about World War II that Japanese attacked us? Do you have a problem with that? GOLDBERG: I have a problem with that. O'REILLY: Do you? GOLDBERG: Yes. O'REILLY: But they attacked us?  GOLDBERG: Sorry, the air force did. O’REILLY: You understand my point? The Japanese air force attacked us on December 7, 1941, NOT the Japanese?   Goldberg apparently has "a problem" saying it was the Japanese because all of that nation's people weren't on the planes that morning!   But there's still more: O'REILLY: We have a Muslim problem in the world in the sense that 90 percent of the terrorism.  Come from that area. GOLDBERG: You know what? What do you mean 90 percent of the terrorists… GOLDBERG: -- are from everywhere. They are white. O'REILLY: No, predominantly they are Muslims.  Right now, everybody can say the Muslims are the terrorists. Two years ago, it was the white people that were the terrorists. O'REILLY: What white people? GOLDBERG: Oh, wasn't it white people that blew up Oklahoma City? O'REILLY: Yes, two of them. Two of them. GOLDBERG: We disagree on this. O'REILLY: But I just want to be clear. GOLDBERG: And it's OK. O'REILLY: We have to have these discussions. GOLDBERG: We must have these discussions. O'REILLY: Right. But I just want to be clear and I'll give you the last word on this and then we'll get to your book. GOLDBERG: OK. O'REILLY: I believe there is a Muslim problem in the world. GOLDBERG: OK. O'REILLY: And that's what I was trying to get across to you guys on "The View." GOLDBERG: Right. O'REILLY: That 70 percent of Americans believe the way I do. They thought it was inappropriate to make a Muslim community center that close to Ground Zero. That was my point. GOLDBERG: I understood your point. What did I not understand and I will just reiterate it again because -- O'REILLY: I just left out the word terrorist. GOLDBERG: Yes. Because in this day and age when kids are getting their butts kicked because they are Muslim, OK? O'REILLY: Not so much. GOLDBERG: Bill, are you kidding me? O'REILLY: New study today, Jews in America are far more likely to be persecuted than Muslims, just came out today. GOLDBERG: You know what? I'm sure that someone believes that, but I believe that in neighborhoods where they don't want Muslims, they beat up kids.”   She's sure someone believes that? Well, I don't know what new report O'Reilly was talking about, but as NewsBusters reported in August, according to the FBI, Jews in 2008 were victims of hate crimes ten times as much as Muslims. Alas, such facts are unimportant to Goldberg, for she believes anything she wants regardless of all the inconvenient truths out there. Of course, that is her right. After all, ignorance is bliss. But that she has a national platform like ABC's "The View," with over 3.5 million viewers on a daily basis, to spread this ignorance is deeply disturbing.   Folks, Whoopi Goldberg whose real name is  Caryn Elaine Johnson and who took her first name from the famous whoopee cushion, and took the name Goldberg because it might sound better in Hollywood, is about as full of something-or-other as that famous cushion.  She, and many, many, other celebrities would do better to keep their political thoughts, or any thoughts, to themselves, lest they be shown to be idiots…as she is.

MADE IN AMERICA…AND OTHER STUFF TOO

MADE IN AMERICA…AND OTHER STUFF TOO.   Once again, my rage-level has gone beyond what is allowable, at least for me.   Let’s start with the recent murders of the two New York City policemen.  They were assassinated, and that’s the proper word, by a nut-job who had killing on his mind.   He was black, he was a Muslim, and he was a nut-job and that seems to be the entrance requirements to Islam.   Now, don’t squirm in your seat and then decide to write me and tell me that “not all Muslims” are nut-jobs, or that we’re “not at war with Islam” because I’ll have to disagree with you on both counts.   Every report, so far, where acts of terror have been committed, or tried to be, have been done by followers of Islam, and in the name of Allah.  Why else would they shout that phrase before they kill, either themselves or others?  This, now, is going to be my tag-line, because I truly believe that we are going to be in an armed conflict in this country.  The Muslims are coming, the Muslims are coming!   Paul Revere didn’t say that, but he sounded the alarm about the British, and I’m trying to do the same about the Muslims.

I recently received two pairs of lounging pants…that’s the bottom half of flannel pajamas in case you didn’t know.   The giver was very proud that they were an American brand.  Being a person that dislikes tags on things, I went to cut them off and discovered that this famous American brand was now made in China.  Holy moley…don’t we make anything in this country anymore?  That’s a rhetorical question because I know we do, and there are websites devoted to American-made products.   Imagine that, having to look up a website to see what you can buy that’s still made in the US of A.   We use a lot of plastic storage containers, ostensibly from “Betty Crocker”, a brand name owned by General Mills, but the containers which are stamped with the logo, are made in China.  I own guns, Winchesters, Smith and Wessons, Colts…all the name brands, right?  Recently I bought a gun, a carbine, that was an exact replica of a Winchester 1873 model, and found out it was made in Brazil.   Say…didn’t we give them a couple of billion a few years back, to develop their oil industry?   And didn’t they turn around and sell the stuff to everybody but us…but I could be wrong on that.   Both the Winchester Super X2 and the newer Super X3 are made in Belgium, with additional assembly work done in Portugal.     Since the mid 1990’s all Winchester historic lever actions (formerly called Limited Editions) have been made at this same factory. This includes the rifles listed here…Historic Winchesters: Model 1885 Single Shot, Model 1886 lever action, Model 1892 lever action, Model 1895 lever action, Model 1873 lever action.     These "Historical Winchesters" are back in production today after being absent from the market for many decades. All are in production today. All are made in Japan.   The Chrysler 300 isn't "Imported from Detroit," as the tagline on its TV ad implies. It's made in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, with, in some models, an engine from Mexico. Likewise, a radio ad calling the Ford Fusion an American-made car isn't so all-American after all. Fusions are built in Mexico.   Although manufactured in the United States, the Jeep is a collaborative effort of companies from several different countries. The chassis shop is managed by a Korean company, the body shop is run by a German firm, and a Canadian-Austrian business oversees the paint. Ultimately, however, Jeep is an American car owned by Chrysler which is owned by Fiat of Italy.   Chevrolet cars have been rolling off the assembly line since 1911.   The Bogota plant, in Bogota, Colombia, and the Daewoo Incheon Motor company plant in Incheon, South Korea build the Chevrolet Aveo hatchback and sedan.   The CAMI Automotive plant in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada builds the Chevrolet Equinox.   Oshawa Car Assembly in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada is where the Chevrolet Impala is produced, as well as the Camaro…and we could go on and on, but you get the picture.   Made in America…are you sure about that?

The irony in this is that we are a nation that made these things first, and we made them better than anybody else.  Now we outsource everything and I blame that on two things; greed and taxes…well, now that I think about it you can roll taxes into greed and that answers the question entirely.  When are we going to put this country back to work, and back on its feet?   That answer is also simple…when you get the foreigner in the White House out of there…oh wait, when you say foreigner you have to be specific, because there’s so many of them in this administration.   Even the President was not “made in America”.
